DTN COMMENTS: All is quiet in cattle feeding country again this morning,
with bids and asking prices still not fully established. Significant
trade volume will likely be delayed until Thursday and/or Friday. So far
this week just a handful of trade has been reported in parts of parts of
the North at $260/$408, certainly not enough to established an accurate
trend for the week. Beef cutouts are expected to be higher with light to
moderate box movement.
NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to email DTN with any cattle sales, at
linda.nellson@dtn.com. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized
by state. All live sales are FOB and set for 1-9-day delivery. A weekly
summary from this data will be posted on the Weekly Cattle Sales Reported
to DTN page and will be left up for the entire week for reference
purposes.
